Telehealth Resource Centers
Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) are funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service’s Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, which is part of the Office of Rural Health Policy. Nationally, there are a total of 14 TRCs which include 12 Regional Centers, all with different strengths and regional expertise, and 2 National Centers, one focusing on Technology Assessment and the other on Policy.  TRCs exist to help you understand what telehealth is, how it can be used to improve access to and quality of care in rural and other medically underserved areas, and help you with developing a telehealth program that would be right for your practice/community.
