Are You a Clinician in North Carolina? Here’s a Chance to Impact NC Medicaid Telehealth Policy

Health policy researchers at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy are studying whether telehealth (via computer, phone, smartphone, or other device) can affect access to care for people with Medicaid insurance in North Carolina. These researchers want to know whether using telehealth has helped children and adults who have behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, substance abuse disorder) and musculoskeletal health conditions (e.g., back pain, arthritis) access the care they needed and what challenges could be addressed with clinical and state-level policy reform.

If you provide clinical care to Medicaid-insured individuals with behavioral health conditions, musculoskeletal health conditions or both, then please fill out this survey or contact Yolande Pokam Tchuisseu for more information. Your input will inform policies that can improve equitable access to care.
