MATRC Telehealth Community Guidelines

Our desire is for this community to be a safe and trusted place for individuals to share ideas, knowledge, thoughts and more. Our hope is that this community will connect people for mutual support, networking and sharing ideas. In order to ensure that all have a beneficial and enjoyable experience, please review and adhere to the rules and guidelines.

DO

  • Do ask questions
  • Do answer questions
  • Do make connections
  • Do request resources, input, suggestions, connections etc.
  • Announce telehealth meetings and events (in the event section)

Don’t

  • No advertising, solicitation, spam or links to such is permitted for promotional purposes. Sharing of links to helpful and relevant web sites and resources, responding to a request for product recommendations, review or input is allowable as long as the post is not simply for the purpose of advertising.
  • No posts of copyrighted material unless you have received author authorization.
  • Do not post personal contact information.
  • If you are a medical and/or legal professional, do not use the forums to distribute professional advice and/or promote your services.
  • Don’t discussion of any illegal activity or threats of violence.
  • Don’t use of explicit, racist, obscene or vulgar language, images or messages.
  • No posts that attack, insult, or abuse others. Other member’s opinions and points of view should be respected.

GUIDELINES

  • Before posting new topics, please check for any open topics on the subject.
  • Use descriptive titles for new posts in order to provide insight into your content.
  • BLOGS – Please post in the Blog section and not as a separate thread.
  • Be respectful of moderators in both the forums and any private communications. 
  • Stay on topic. Posts which are not relevant to the forum topic may be deleted. 
  • VENDORS – Feel free to contribute your considerable knowledge on your subject area and offer links to your product/service, but save the marketing for your marketing pages. We have a special section for you to use.
  • Keep posts family friendly. 
  • Report posts that violate the rules so that we can guide users to keep the policies that are good for everyone.
  • Don’t rely on information or opinions to replace your own judgement and personal consultations with qualified professionals to meet your health or medical needs.

Remember

Users that do not abide by the rules may have their posts edited or deleted, their user account suspended, permanently banned from further access and/or deleted without notice. Rules and guidelines may change at any time, please review them often.
