There are several sources for telehealth courses and certificate programs. This list will focus on those being offered either within the MATRC Region or available nationally online:
- American Board of Telehealth Core Concepts in Telehealth Certificate. This is an 8 hour online certificate course.
- California TRC Telehealth Course Finder. This resource created by the CTRC lists telehealth focused training courses. It is not inclusive or vetted, but is a growing list.
- STAR Telehealth a New College Institute. The Southside Telehealth Training Academy and Resource Center (STAR) offered several courses and the following certificate programs:
- Board Certified - Telemental Health
- Certified Telehealth Coordinator
- Telehealth Liaison Certificate
- Telehealth.org (Telebehavioral Health Institute) offers professional development through telehealth training and consultation to mental/behavioral health providers through course modules and certificates.
- Telehealth Certification Institute offers hundreds of online courses, certification programs, webinars and-in-person trainings. The primary focus of these courses are topics of mental/behavioral health relevance.
- Telehealth Village is an online platform for telehealth education and is a collaboration between the University of Virginia (UVA) Karen S. Rheuban Center for Telehealth, MATRC and the UVA Office of Continuing Medical Education. Here you will find accredited courses for physicians, nurses, administrators, IT teams and policy makers.
- Thomas Jefferson University Telehealth Facilitator Certificate. This is a 5 -week online certificate course.
- University of Delaware Advanced Telehealth Coordinator Certificate. This is a 15-week online certificate course.
